Our mission is to serve displaced, orphaned or abandoned children and the carers that support them. Our main focus is support for the Saidia Children's Home in Gilgil, Kenya and the programs run out of that home for newborn babies through to the time they are 18. We are a volunteer organisation with all our work in the USA being performed completely by volunteers.

We provide a safe haven for children who have been abandoned give them a home and prepare them for independence. The age range of the children is from newborn to eighteen years with the older ones helping the little ones under the supervision of local professional staff. The Saidia Childrens Home and Bondeni Preschool take care of over 135 children from providing safe care for newborns to encouraging late teens to get scholarships and diplomas.

Orphan Support League
Local Norfolk artists Jo Cowell and Judi Tussaud are having an exhibition at Brancaster Staithe & Deepdale Village Hall and kindly donating 10% of their profits to Friends of Saidia to help the children at Saidia Children's Home. The exhibition will run from June 28th-30th from 10-5pm. Please come and join them, pick up a lovely painting and donate to a very worthwhile cause.
