The Mission of Greater New Haven Help Alliance is to form genuine alliances of both faith-based and otherwise secular people and organizations who desire to work together toward seeing the Shalom (holistic peace) of God manifested in Greater New Haven. Through such alliances, we desire to increase local opportunities for individuals and families to fully access basic healthcare and holistic education that includes life skills, employment training, artistic and creative exploration, and academic assistance. Collaboratively, we will create opportunities, including jobs, for at-risk individuals of all ages to arise and reach the fullness of their potential. Specifically concerning youth, we will endeavor to maximize the intrinsic potential of at risk young people by:Enabling them to thrive and reach for personal excellence and academic successSupporting, undergirding and where necessary, supplementing an effective family basePromoting and providing opportunities for positive engagement within their communities.
