World Dog Day celebrates our loyal dog companions and raises awareness about important issues affecting dogs, such as adoption, animal cruelty, and proper care. This day is set aside to educate the public about caring for disabled pets and to encourage animal lovers to consider choosing a disabled pet when they are looking at adopting a new pet family member.
