Halcyon Levi, a 20-year-old Cheyenne and Arapaho artist, transforms childhood stories into vibrant artwork inspired by Oklahoma’s beauty and her tribal heritage. Using colored pencils, acrylic pens, and vintage ledgers, her work blends traditional techniques with modern styles. As one of the few descendants of the Sand Creek Massacre studying at the University of Denver, Halcyon’s work is deeply tied to her family’s history and her commitment to preserving her culture.
