Our purpose is to educate the community about the benefits of public golf courses. We research, analyze and provide historical, cultural, recreational and financial data about these courses to the public and key decision makers. Our priority is to work with preservationists, environmentalists, golfers, government agencies, and community leaders in San Francisco and San Mateo County to save the Alister MacKenzie golf shrine at Sharp Park and scenic Lincoln Park. Our motivation is the legacy and community joy inextricably bound to San Francisco’s historic public courses and the wonderful game of golf.
