Westville Fire Department Established 1987 Call Outs to Date 2024 Total Calls 2023 Total Calls 2022 Mission Statement The mission of the Westville Fire District is to provide a professional level of community fire protection emergency medical and rescue services to the citizens and property owners within the Borough of Westville in order to prevent or minimize the loss of life pain and suffering and property damage as a result of fire or other type of emergency. The Fire Districts mission will be accomplished by the effective use of its volunteer career and physical resources in cooperation with other public agencies utilizing stateoftheart equipment innovative techniques and available technology to provide a high level of cost efficient quality service. In 1987 the Borough of Westville was served by two distinct fire companies the Union Fire Company and the Independent Fire Company. However a decline in volunteer numbers and budget constraints led to discussions about merging the two.
