Online Resource: The only lung cancer nonprofit to distribute information in an easy-to-understand format for patients and caregivers. National Awareness: Through our Remember November campaign we continue to partner with other nonprofits, local merchants and schools to educate others about the efficacies of lung cancer. We also partner with the Environmental Protection Agency during National Radon Action Month and distribute free radon test kits to help people protect their familes from radon which is the second leading cause of lung cancer. We also offer free teaching materials to educators to teach about tobacco awareness and lung health. Patient Services & Early Detection: We've given back to the patients at the Jefferson Cancer Clinic weekly since July 2007 through present. We have just partnered with El Camino Hospital and Synergenz for an early detection clinical trial cheek swab test to test for the predisposition of lung cancer.
