VFCCi owns and maintains a community center "Big Falls Lodge" in the rural community of Forest Falls, CA for the use and benefit of other local non-profit groups, residents and friends of our local communities.Our goal is to foster community by providing a multi-use space available to all interested. We are the parent group for our local CERT team, on site is one of the "disaster bins" in town used during natural disasters and emergencies. Valley of the Falls Search and Rescue, Forest Falls firefighters, cub scouts, garden club, music club, and others regularly use the facility. One of our most popular events is "Souper Thursday", organized by residents once a month for homemade soup and salad bar, and a chance to congregate and meet neighbors. All are welcome, admission is free!
