Even before Title IX passed, alumna Rita Rislund paved the way for female athletes. She has spent her career as a Title IX advocate, educator, and athletic director, collecting accolades along the way. Before they made it to the big leagues, graduates Parker Jacobs '23 and Josiah Behm '24 were building their portfolios here at MSUM. Both crediting MSUM for playing a significant role in preparing them for their careers with Prairiewood Wealth Management. "Almost all of the classes I took correlated to what we do here," Parker said, emphasizing courses like tax and principles of investment. Similarly, Josiah felt the practical learning he gained from projects and assignments at MSUM were very similar to what he is doing currently at the firm.
