Colorado Thoroughbred Rescue's Mission: (1) Obtain equines in danger of being slaughtered; (2) Educate the public on horse care; (3) Offer help to equine owners in times of natural or personal disaster; (4) Rehabilitate neglected and abused equines; (5) Accept donations of unwanted equines for adoption into new homes; (6) Place equines in new homes; and (7) Improve the lives of equines throughout the United States, particularly Colorado.
