Aloha! Please join us for the 1st International Indigenous Virtual Cultural Exchange on Climate Change sponsored by the Hanalei River Heritage Foundation with funding support from the US Fish & Wildlife! The conference is a unique opportunity to discuss the impact of climate change with stakeholders, villagers, and community members from Palau, Yap, and Hawai'i. Presenters share live experiences related to the impacts of climate change related to their respective island lifestyles, as well as their land and ocean resources. The conference will feature a "culture-based talk story" format with a moderator, encouraging audience participation and discussion of relevant topics. We are confident that this event will be both informative and engaging. To participate, please register through our Eventbrite link at: https://www.eventbrite.com/.../malama-ola-one-day-virtual....
