🌟 Employee Spotlight: Meet Kathy Ritter 🌟 Kathy, our incredible Assistant Manager of Life Enrichment, is celebrating 15 years at K-B this month! Kathy’s journey with senior care began during high school and college breaks when she worked as a patient care assistant and Physical Therapy Aide at a nursing home. Although she took a brief break from the field, Kathy was thrilled to return to working with in senior care when she joined K-B. Known for her creative ideas and infectious energy, Kathy brings so much joy to the residents with her activities. One of her most memorable moments was wearing a bunny costume during Easter celebrations amidst COVID — all to spread a little extra cheer! One of Kathy's most cherished memories was when residents surprised her with a birthday celebration after an exercise class, complete with snacks and beverages. Their kindness overwhelmed her and remains one of the most meaningful experiences of her career. When she's not brightening the day of our residents, Kathy loves spending time outdoors, reading, and enjoying quality time with her family. Oh, and fun fact—she’s a Karaoke enthusiast! Her family shares her passion, and they love belting out tunes together! Kathy, your dedication, positivity, and love for what you do make K-B a truly special place.
