Nee Danse Theatre
Née Danse/Theatre is a project-based dance/movement theatre company that responds to contemporary issues with provocative artistic expression. Our work reveals the stories that lie just beneath the surface. The strength and power of these stories reside in the articulate performer’s bodies that are expressed through movement, dance, text, and music. Using these performing arts traditions, our productions promote social discourse that facilitates change for deeper human connection. As a cultural organization, Née Danse/Theatre's work spans three components: 1) Creating productions, 2) Presenting guest artists; 3) Providing educational opportunities through class offerings and community outreach programs.
