Daughters of Demeter, Inc. – Demeter Wisconsin Demeter Demeter is a nonprofit organization with a primary mission of providing student support for undergraduate students in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences at UWMadison. We also support community projects and promote friendship and fellowship among agricultural and life science professionals their families and community members. Student support includes Scholarships Research Awards Study Abroad Awards Internships and funds for Student Organizations. Community projects have included planting bulbs at the Allen Centennial Garden each fall and sewing headcovers for people undergoing cancer treatment.
