A Catholic, Liberal Arts School serving K-12th grade in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley Serving the western reaches of Northern Virginia and the northern Shenandoah Valley, Chelsea Academy is a co-educational independent, college-preparatory school that provides an education rooted in the liberal arts and the Catholic faith for grades 4 - 12. Our classes are small (23 teachers for 178 students), our curriculum traditional, and our teachers highly-educated in their fields. We offer numerous extracurricular opportunities: in the arts, athletics, and outdoor adventure. Five percent of our student body is international; 88% are Catholic. Our male-female ratio is almost 50/50, and in 2015-16, we had a 90% student retention rate. Our students achieve average scores of 1921 on the SAT, AP, and subject tests, and have a 100% college acceptance rate.
