To foster, volunteer or adopt, call 662-519-1700. We don't have have set open hours, so appointments are needed to visit and meet the adoptable pets. The Tunica Humane Society was founded in 2008 by a handful of individuals that wanted to make a difference for the many unwanted and abused animals in their community. Prior to their organization there were no provisions in place, no animal control in their county, to insure that every unwanted animal got a Second Chance at life. Through their years of dedication, passion and hard work, the Tunica Humane Society has become a model shelter inspiring other rescue organizations in their area and across the country to go that extra mile for every life. Every life matters to the Tunica Humane Society.
