SINCE 1996, THE NICK LOWERY YOUTH FOUNDATION, INC. (NLYF) HAS DEDICATED ITSELF TO HELPING DISADVANTAGED YOUTH, ESPECIALLY NATIVE AMERICANS, BY DEVELOPING, PROMOTING AND SPONSORING PROGRAMS AND RELATIONSHIPS THAT FOSTER SELF-ESTEEM, LEADERSHIP QUALITIES AND SKILLS, AMD ENCOURAGING YOUTH TO BE POSITIVE ASSETS TO THEIR COMMUNITIES. SINCE 2003, OVER 5,000 YOUTH AND OVER 200 ADULT ADVISORS WERE TRAINED THROUGH TWO CAPSTONE PROGRAMS, NATION BUILDING FOR NATIVE YOUTH(NBNY)SUMMER LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE AND THE NEW EXTRAORDINARY TRANSCENDENT LEADERSHIP PROGRAM(NExT)

Children in the Druze village of Majdal Shams in Israels verdant north gleefully played football. In a matter of seconds everything changed and the unthinkable happened. A missile fired by Iranian terror proxy Hezbollah fired towards the area and killed 12 of the children who were so happily playing just moments before.
