Schaumburg Township Elementary School Foundation
The D54 Education Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the lives of District 54 students. The District 54 Foundation is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to enhancing the academic experiences of District 54 students by providing funds to support programs and activities that do not fit into District 54’s normal operating budget. Our programs primarily serve students from families who are struggling financially. Currently about 20 percent of District 54’s more than 15,000 students qualify for the federal free lunch program, which for a family of four means an annual income of less than $32,000. Our current focus is providing breakfast to ensure that students begin their day ready to learn. The Foundation also funds grants to students with financial needs so they can participate in extracurricular activities.

Home - D54 Education Foundation 28th Annual Golf Outing Registration is open for our biggest fundraiser of the year our annual golf outing on Monday June 9 at Schaumburg Golf Club. Crisis Fund Donations made to the Families in Crisis Fund make it possible for families to afford groceries utilities gas and other essential items. Because of the generosity of donors the Foundation has distributed over 198000 to hundreds of District 54 families through this fund. The D54 Families in Crisis Fund has distributed more than 198000 to hundreds of District 54 families.
