Liljestrand Foundation was created in 2007 to preserve and steward Liljestrand House on Mount Tantalus, overlooking Honolulu. The Foundation builds global awareness of its architectural significance through guided tours, public programs and publications.

The mission of the Liljestrand Foundation is to preserve the house and to make that preservation purposeful by opening the house to the public for tours and for charitable cultural and educational activities. Mr. Ossipoffs designs are known for seamless integration of building and site elegant orchestration of circulation clever management of views and creative mix of modern and natural materials.
