he Liljestrand House is an outstanding example of architect Vladimir Ossipoffs work and of midtwentieth century Hawaiian modern architecture. The mission of the Liljestrand Foundation is to preserve the house and to make that preservation purposeful by opening the house to the public for tours and for charitable cultural and educational activities. Mr. Ossipoffs designs are known for seamless integration of building and site elegant orchestration of circulation clever management of views and creative mix of modern and natural materials.
