NEIGHBORS WHO CARE INC

Neighbors Who Care serves to fulfill the unmet needs of an often-forgotten population--low-income, isolated/lonely elders who have "fallen through the cracks of the system." Many have outlived friends/ family and find themselves without the resources/ability to know where to turn often resulting in mental and physical decline. NWC responds by pairing them at no cost with a volunteer companion who offers a trusting, long-lasting friendship and support. Neighbors Who Care provides volunteers with under served elders who have outlived friends/, family/ neighbors and find themselves with little or no emotional or financial support. We provide our clients with a volunteer companion at no charge to them.
