THE FORT STREET MALL BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT (BID) WAS FORMED TO CARRY OUT AND EXECUTE THE ACTIVITIES PRESCRIBED IN THE CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT PLAN DATED OCTOBER 10, 2002. THESE ACTIVITIES INCLUDE THE IMPLEMENTATION AND MANAGEMENT OF SERVICE PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO IMPROVE SECURITY, SANITATION AND MITIGATE COMMUNITY DETERIORATION OF THE AREA KNOWN AS THE FORT STREET MALL.
