Plowshare Farm is a lifesharing community where people with diverse capabilities and challenges find Plowshare Farm's mission is to create a community where people of all abilities, including people with developmental challenges, can live, learn and work with others in healthy social relationships based on mutual care and respect; where the values of service, sharing, spiritual nourishment, and recognition of each individual's gifts and contributions offer a model of renewal for the wider society; where stewardship of the land and care for the environment are valued; where families and children can find a balanced lifestyle in which they can flourish; where we promote education and healing through traditional crafts and farm life; and where inclusive community life enables the unfolding of each individual's highest potential.

Thanks to magnanimous and sharing hearts, Arthur and Elizabeth Auer's extensive and well curated collection of books is ready to be shared with the world. After a gift of labor from Plowshare community members to review/sort the collection and transport many boxes of books to LocalShare, this wide-ranging collection of beautiful books spanning subjects from art to music to mythology and more (including many gems appropriate for a school library. ) will be available to peruse beginning Wednesday morning at 9:30 when LocalShare opens for the week.
