This week in LCT history: THE LITTLE FOXES returned to Broadway at the Beaumont on 4/3/97. Arguably Lillian Hellman’s best play, THE LITTLE FOXES is a compelling indictment of the culture of greed – and a well-crafted showcase for a powerhouse actress! LCT’s production was directed by Jack O’Brien and featured Stockard Channing in the role of Regina Giddens. The company featured, among others, Brian Kerwin and Brian Murray. Fun fact: before LCT was founded in 1985, Anne Bancroft played the role of Regina in a production at the Beaumont 30 years earlier - in 1967 - under the direction of Mike Nichols.
