8u Eagles Kyle's Kamp Runners Up Our 8u Eagles came up just short in the championship game of the always tough Kyle's Kamp tournament in Fairfax, VA, losing in the final 5-3 to the formidable and familiar foe, Fielders Choice. Their weekend included an epic walkoff win in the semi-finals courtesy of an RBI single from Cooper D. Bradley led the way on the mound on the weekend, eating up nearly 6 innings using only 77 pitches over the three day event. He struck out 4 and walked none. Donovan collected 5 hits in 4 games to lead all Eagles batters, while Logan U and Tommy each pulled together 5 RBI of their own. The championship game was tight from start to finish, which included spectacular pitching and defense from both squads. It was, in fact, not for the faint of heart. The Eagles threatened often, but came up just shy of the prize. (fb)
