Known for its clear water and sandy bottom the lake supports recreational activities including paddle boarding canoeing fishing sailing pontoon cruising water skiing and wake boarding. The North Sand Lake Association is a registered 501c3 nonprofit organization focused on the preservation and improvement of the lake and its environment for the benefit of its members and for the public.
