The Charlton School A nonprofit therapeutic learning community The Charlton School is a space for growth The Charlton School is for young women who have trouble succeedingin their communities. This may be due to struggles with anxiety depression trauma identity selfinjurious behaviors bipolar disorder school refusal feeling guarded and other mental health challenges. Here students have researchbased support in a peaceful environment. Our goal is to bolster their intellectual social and emotional wellbeing in a place where they feel seen and heard.

Summer is a great time for our students to strengthen their job skills through internships and our Career Development and Occupational Studies program (CDOS). We are excited and grateful that we have several partners offering our students meaningful internship experiences this summer. ⬇️⬇️⬇️ 👶Learning Ladder Daycare: assisting with kiddos aged 2-5 👛CAPTAIN's Treasures "Next to New" Store: customer service and point of sale 👗Lifestyles of Saratoga clothing store: sales and merchandising 🏥@Aqueduct Animal Hospital: daily animal care, daycare and boarding assistance 🐶Country Acres Farm and Pet Center: customer service and animal care 🥪Camp Stomping Ground : assisting in the kitchen with meal prep and serving 🐴Charlton Equine Learning Center: horse care and equine exercise Thanks to these partners, our students are gaining meaningful opportunities for personal growth and career exploration that will help them well into their futures.
