The Bridge Family Center, Inc.
EVERY FAMILY. EVERY CHILD. EVERY TIME. Formed in 1969 to help youth engaged in high-risk behaviors, the Bridge today is a comprehensive, regional nonprofit agency offering a broad range of services to children and families in Greater Hartford. We have 33 residential beds for young people; four mental health clinics that serve children, families, and adults; a Teen Center; two Mosaic Parenting Centers for families working towards reunification, and a nationally recognized Family Resource Center. Last year, we served more than 9,000 children and families. Our mission is to foster the courage and strength in children and families to meet life's challenges and build fulfilling lives.

Crisis Counseling, Residential Services & Family Support | The Bridge Family Center Support and guidance with a wide range of social and academic programs for youth through teenage years and as they move into adulthood. A variety of family programs and support services that enhance parenting and help children to succeed academically socially and emotionally. Counseling programs offered at The Bridge provide crisis counseling stabilization and youth teen couple and family therapy. Crisisbased and transitional community housing assistance for teens and young adults providing guidance to young people as they move into adulthood.

Last week Martin Smith LMFT, Clinical Director for Outpatient Services, and Andrew Halpern LPC, Elmwood Site Supervisor were presented with the Chi Sigma Iota Award for Outstanding Clinical Supervisor by the University of St. Joseph's Clinical Mental Health Counseling Center (CMHC) program. We are so proud of their accomplishment.
