Sandy comes to Good Shepherd Rehabilitation in Kutztown to work on her balance and strength following a stroke. Sandy hasn’t been able to work in her garden; she felt too unsteady to safely work in the backyard due to the unevenness of the ground. At Good Shepherd, Sandy engages in custom-designed exercises to build balance and strength — and to get back to gardening. Here, Sandy sweeps up beanbags on a tumbling mat with additional pads to simulate raking leaves and picking up weeds. Way to go, Sandy! #ChooseGoodShepherd (fb)
