Wanderbirds Hiking Club
We are a hiking club that is dedicated to enjoying the outdoors. We organize hikes every Sunday throughout the year. Most of our hikes go by chartered bus and other hikes are trailhead hikes where the hikers drive themselves to the trailhead. We also organize official club social events such as holiday parties, summer picnics, and happy hours.

Wanderbirds Hiking Club WANDERBIRDS HIKING CLUB An 89Year Tradition of Hiking the Washington DC Area CURRENT HIKING SCHEDULE Update from the President January 16 2024 The Wanderbirds are now on Meetup and bus hikes are back. Bus hike pickups are in downtown DC and depending on the hike at Grosvenor metro in Maryland or Vienna metro in Virginia. We offer a mix of hikes bus hikes carpool hikes and trailhead hikes. Our hikes are normally on Sundays.
