American Legion World Series | shelby north carolina baseball legion tournament | United States American Legion World Series Home About Tickets FAQ 2024 Publications File Uploads 2025 Program Advertising More August 1419 2025 The American Legion World Series is a sixday youth baseball tournament held every August in Shelby NC and is one of four national world series in the country. Teams representing legion posts from across the United States meet on Veterans Field and compete in a pool play tournament to crown the champion. This national event is more than just a baseball tournament with specialty days designated to support military appreciation academic achievement youth athletics and more. Last year approximately 123000 tickets were sold for the series including military personnel veterans and fans alike.
