Blossom Philadelphia, formerly United Cerebral Palsy of Philadelphia, was founded in 1946 by parents of children with cerebral palsy. Since then it has worked tirelessly for the rights of individuals with disabilities; has sought answers through research about cerebral palsy and its medical, treatment, and rehabilitation possibilities. Blossom Philadelphia has worked to assure that individuals with cerebral palsy and other disabilities are included as full members of their communities with the education, housing, employment and support they need to maximize their independence.
