Led by Jews with disabilities, we at Yad HaChazakah-The Jewish Disability Empowerment Center empower our peers with disabilities to control their own lives and to promote access to and full participation in their communities. We accomplish this by serving as role models, by providing guidance, information and self-advocacy training to groups and individuals, and by activating taskforces to advance Jewish community access and inclusiveness.
