Providing opportunities for life-changing educational travel programs to eager and deserving high school students: www.fartherfoundation.org Farther Foundation provides scholarships for Chicago area high school students to participate in educational travel experiences that are significant and potentially life changing. Those who have traveled know the inspiration and revelation that comes from experiencing a new place, immersing oneself in a new culture, learning new skills or engaging in service. Farther Foundation partners with schools and community organizations to identify students who demonstrate commitment to success through academic achievement, participation in support programs and a willingness to take a bold step beyond the familiar. Students that are inspired, challenged and supported achieve and succeed at higher rates than their counterparts.

Farther Foundation the power of travel Donate now Too many students in and around Chicago live in communities defined by historic inequities and have their ambitions stifled by disinvestment and lack of opportunities based on race ethnicity and other factors unrelated to their talents and aspirations. Farther Foundation enables students to break free from these constraints and experience the wider world through educational travel. Our students become immersed in new culturesprovide community service cultivate leadership potential and attain personal growth. Inspired by their experience Farther Foundation alumni return home with new skills confidence and enthusiasmready to take on new challenges in school and in life.
