Deep Roots of Hope
The brain-child of agricultural entrepreneur, Holly Weilnau, Deep Roots of Hope was originally founded in affiliation with J.H. Weilnau Farm. Located in rural Milan, Ohio, the farm provides a community supported agriculture (CSA) program to local consumers wanting to purchase fresh, high-quality, seasonal foods direct from the farm.Incorporated in September 2015, Deep Roots of Hope was founded as a non-profit organization to support and sustain families by providing these CSAs at no cost to families affected by cancer or other life-threatening illnesses. With ambitions to expand locally, currently, the organization only provides assistance to local families in the northern Ohio area. The corporation obtained non-profit 501(c)3 status in July of 2016.
