Danene Sorace serves as the 43rd Mayor of City of Lancaster, PA, first elected in 2018 and re-elected in 2021. She is only the second woman to serve as mayor and brings a background as a nonprofit leader, environmental advocate, and former Lancaster City Council member, where she chaired the Finance Committee. In recognition of her public service, she received an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters at F&M’s 238th Commencement. Donnie Marsh ’79 is regarded as one of F&M's finest basketball players, helping the Diplomats through four highly successful years on the court — including a third place finish in the 1979 NCAA Division III National Championships. After more than four decades of college coaching experience, the WNBA’s Chicago Sky hired him as a basketball operations specialist in March. This means the 69-year-old is now working with his son, Tyler Marsh, who was hired as the Sky’s head coach last November.
