Our mission is to provide financial support and necessary resources for the treatment of pediatric cancer in Guatemala and U.S.A . Our beneficiaries are children with cancer regardless of their socio-economic background, beliefs or ethnic origin. All donations received by Ayudame a Vivir Foundation, Inc. are for the sole not-for-profit purpose of diagnosing and treating cancer in children. At the moment, we focus most of our efforts in supporting Guatemalan children with cancer. Ayudame a Vivir Foundation, Inc. does not accept unsolicited grant proposals. Our funding is proactive and made to U.S and Guatemalan tax-exempt organizations dedicated to treating children with cancer that are independently identified by our Board.

- Fundraising: The organization conducts fundraising activities, primarily in Florida, with the primary goal of supporting pediatric cancer treatment at the Unidad Nacional de Oncología Pediátrica (UNOP), the only specialized pediatric cancer hospital in Guatemala.
- Holistic Treatment Support: The funds raised are used to support a wide range of services including:
- Oncological Treatment: Early diagnosis and timely, appropriate treatment are key to curing pediatric cancer.
- Psychological Support: The foundation provides therapeutic support to patients and their families, educating them about cancer.
- Palliative Care: Through AYUVI-Hogar Estuardo Mini Hospice, patients receive medical, psychological, and spiritual support.
- Social Work and Education: Identifying risk factors to prevent treatment abandonment and providing personalized education to patients and families.
- Social Support Programs: Assisting families in extreme poverty with shelter, food, and transportation.
Impact
Ayudame a Vivir Foundation's efforts have contributed significantly to improving the survival rates of children with cancer in Guatemala. By supporting Fundación AYUVI and UNOP, they help make advanced medical care accessible to underprivileged children, bridging the gap in healthcare disparities between developed and underdeveloped regions.
Financial Usage
The organization allocates 90% of its annual funds to support Fundación AYUVI in Guatemala, focusing on pediatric cancer treatment. The remaining 10% supports the Nicklaus Children's Hospital Foundation.
