Sycamore Lane Therapeutic Riding Center's mission is to provide and promote therapeutic riding and recreation in a safe, professional, nurturing environment to the children and adults of the Portland metropolitan area. Enhancing the lives and well-being of people in our community including individuals with mental and physical disabilities. A few words about our mission statement– it was originally developed to encompass all the things we hopeto be. However, as the following narrative illustrates – ourorganization was founded to provide a unique and effective set oftherapies to those in our community who could most benefit from them– the mentally, physically, cognitively and developmentally impaired.
