The rest of the days you can just hang out at the B&B and relax, or you may go to the Pyramid Tour and Market Visit for $85 USD, tour the Avocado Orchard Experience for $60 USD, and do a cooking class for $65 USD. Everyone may decide for themselves what they would like to do. Day 7, February 24 – return home An estimated cost for the trip is: Airfare - Should be around $1000 USD for Delta Comfort+ and less for main cabin. I have reserved a Mercedes Benz Sprinter Executive Version with bilingual driver to take us from the Mexico City airport to Macheros and back to the Mexico City airport. The cost per person, if there are 12 people going, will be approximately $100 USD. If there are less than 12, it will cost a little more. We generally tip the driver 300 pesos ($20 USD) each way. Room at Cerro Pelon Butterfly B&B for 7 nights = $960 USD, the room can be shared with up to 4 people, so you will divide that cost if you have others in the room with you. The room includes breakfast. They need 50% deposit, to hold the room. Their cancelation policy is nonrefundable for the 50% deposit. Tip for housekeeping per week $25. The Cerro Pelón Monarch Sanctuary Butterfly Tour price of $135 USD per adult includes entry fee, horse rental, bag lunch, and a bilingual guide. We usually give the horseman at least 400-peso tip, which is equivalent to ($20 USD). The El Rosario Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary Tour is an hour and a half drive from our B&B. Tour price of $135 USD each includes transportation (1 1/2 hours each way from the B&B), entry fee, horse rental, bag lunch and an English-speaking guide. We usually give the horseman at least 200-peso tip, which is equivalent to ($10 USD). The Sierra Chincua Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary Tour price of $135 USD per person includes transportation (2 hours each way from B&B), entry fee, horse rental, bag lunch and an English-speaking guide.
