THE KBR CHARITABLE FOUNDATION, INC IS A NON-PROFIT CORPORATION FOCUSED ON PURSUING PHILANTHROPIC ACTIVITIES IN ORDER TO RAISE FUNDS FOR 501(C)(3) CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS. THE ORGANIZATION GENERALLY HAS ONE FUNDRAISING EVENT EACH YEAR, A GOLF TOURNAMENT HELD IN SEPTEMBER. IN 2017, THE ORGANIZATION INITIATED A PROGRAM TO PROVIDE RELIEF TO KBR EMPLOYEES WHO WERE IMPACTED BY FLOODING IN AUGUST 2017 DUE TO HURRICANE HARVEY. DONATIONS WERE RECEIVED FROM KBR, KBR EMPLOYEES AND OTHER ENTITIES AND WERE DISTRIBUTED TO KBR EMPLOYEES TO PROVIDE IMMEDIATE RELIEF. THE PROGRAM IS ONGOING.
