The Charles A. Becker Foundation was created to continue the benevolent spirit of its founder, who cared about and supported child causes throughout his life. CABF awards financial support to direct-benefit youth programs of charitable organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area. A motivation for CABF’s support is toward educational opportunities that focus on kids in the middle, with favor to programs which help develop: self-confidence, health and wellness, and guidance toward meaningful paths of purpose and fulfillment. A primary objective is supporting initiatives that increase graduation rates, yet a fervent impetus is financial investment in high-impact, high-value, life-directing, and personally affirming connections, which help develop individuals that thrive.
