Due to a recent severe drought, a village elder in the deserts of Marsabit, Kenya came to PFC Director Kano with an urgent request: His people desperately needed water. Within a week, WaterSafe back packs and water trucks drove down the dusty roads of the desert bringing 16,000 liters of clean water to the community, and Kano’s response says it all… “Hallelujah Hallelujah. Glory be to God in heaven! The WaterSafe back pack has arrived in the desert. ✨ Partner Highlight ✨ One of our longest-standing partners — of over 15 years — has been Jeff and Cara Canon of ProEnergy. From being annual sponsors of the Virtual Elephant, raising funds for the WaterSafe program, and serving on our Board, the Canons have touched every single part of Partners for Care. One of their most notable contributions was in 2017 when they funded and started the very first PFC Sewing School: Sisters for Christ. (Cara, especially, has always been passionate about giving mothers opportunities to make an income and provide for their families.)
