Kiah Foundation
The purpose of The Kiah Foundation is to raise funds and awareness for the childhood cancers plaguing our children. Funds will be raised and allocated based on 3 main goals: Family Support, Awareness, and Research. Family Support includes, but is not limited to: supporting specific families with financial aid, gifts, and helping connect local families with one another. The Kiah Foundation also supports Organizations that offer additional family support as determined by the Board of Directors. Awareness includes, but is not limited to: Community Events, blood drives, newsletters and other marketing material, updated and accurate information about Childhood Cancer. Research is a future endeavor that will be further explored as funds become available and/or donated. Currently The Kiah Foundation's guidelines for Research are as follows: Funds will be raised and directed to appropriate research centers and clinical trials working to cure childhood cancers as well as those working to alleviate the lifelong side effects of treatment.
