MISSION STATEMENT At Calico Junction New beginnings Ranch, Inc. we believe that a caring, therapeutic environment combined with an individually paced equine-assisted learning program allows struggling individuals to experience success and rediscover a sense of mastery and self worth. Our mission is to provide comprehensive and innovative programs that serve military veterans, at-risk youth, abused individuals, and their families. Rather than rely on traditional methods that are passive in nature, we utilize rescued horses to achieve our program goals. Relying in part on the interaction between horses & humans to facilitate change, our programs provide ‘a second chance’ for abused, unwanted horses. Knowing that they contribute to their equine partners' future initiates clients success.
