To raise funds to stimulate interest in the sport of hockey and provide charitable giving to local community agencies, junior hockey programs, the player's education fund and other charitable giving to promote positive activity and health for children and families. To promote Food and Clothing drives each year. Sponsor the Shop-With-A-Hawk (tm) Program with our Partners The Portland Police Bureau'Sunshine Division, The Portland Winterhawks Hockey Team, and Fred Meyer's (A Kroger Company) where the Team is paired with underprivileged children to shop for clothing, shoes, school supplies, and Christmas presents. Local News Media usually cover this event for the evening news broadcast depending on the current news cycle. The event is NOT a Public Event to protect the children.
