It’s officially summer at Bethel! A huge thank you to our friends and families who came out to celebrate with us at our May 31st Summer Kick-off to officially launch our summer at Bethel! The day was bursting with energy, laughter, and meaningful connections. We were so caught up in the moment that we didn’t even stop to snap a good photo. We’re especially grateful to First Baptist Church of Olathe for generously providing lunch for everyone, and to the team at Better Together Kansas City Clinic for their warm presence and the exciting news about our partnership and upcoming FREE clinic at Bethel to serve our community. WHO WE ARE CAPITAL CAMPAIGN Bethel Neighborhood Center opened its doors on April 11 1911 as a community center of The Women39s Baptist Home Mission Society. They primarily served needy families living near or working in the meatpacking plants of the West Bottoms of Kansas City. Many of them were new immigrants from Eastern European countries.
