Alexandra's Playground brings safe, active play into children’s daily lives, especially those growing up in underserved communities. We donate playgrounds and support programs that encourage safe play. In memory of Alexandra Vitale. A 501c3 nonprofit. Alexandra’s Playground works to bring the Gift of Play into the daily lives of children, particularly those growing up in underserved neighborhoods, through initiatives designed to make a positive impact on their lives. They are committed to creating safe environments for children to strengthen their bodies and minds through imaginative play and interaction with other children. Established in 2009 to commemorate the life of their founders’ daughter, Alexandra Vitale, the organization aims to positively impact the world as they know she would have. With a focus on the NY-NJ-CT tri-state area and beyond, an Alexandra’s Playground donation often culminates in a community build, bringing families and neighborhoods together.
