The corporation promotes animal welfare by providing elements for a no-kill community which includes but is not limited to: feral cat trap-neuter-return (TNR), spay/neuter resources, rescue of adoptable animals, foster care, adoption program, pet retention resources, medical and behavior rehabilitation, public relations, education and referrals, community involvement, volunteer and leadership opportunities and fundraising activities. In addition, it provides courtesy listing of animals on Petfinder.com for city shelters, other animal rescues, and individuals of the community. HHP’s main focus is currently cats but may expand to other animals as the need arises (such as dogs and small rodents).
