Please see this cool video preview by the DEP which later this Spring will release LSP's Revitalization Program Master Plan based on 5000 public comments to its consultants and decades of the overwhelming broad public consensus for a great open space park! The video previews the new Master Plan's large active recreation component of athletic fields and courts as part of the real People's Park improvements vision for a free, Central Park-type park highlighting unstructured active recreation, passive recreation and science-based flood resiliency nature habitats and trails. The improvements will take time and continuing legislative funding but will be in progress for LSP's 50th birthday in June, 2026!
