"Martin Luther King dedicated his life to love and to justice between fellow human beings, he died in the cause of that effort." - Senator Robert F. Kennedy. Fifty-seven years ago today, in a moment of grief, Sen. Kennedy shared a personal message of empathy, understanding, and the need for unity that echoed Dr. King’s vision for a world free from discrimination and division. His words, spoken just hours after Dr. King's life was unjustly taken, reminded us that even in the face of violence and hatred, we must choose compassion over cruelty, justice over indifference, and love over fear. Today, we honor Dr. King's legacy by continuing the fight for equality and dignity for all. (fb)
