Club President Vernon Lowrey updated the club this morning on his recent peace building trip to Kosovo. Peace Poles were jointly planted in Prishtina, Kosovo and Burjanovac, Serbia. The Breakfast Club Kona Sunrise started as a breakfast club when a former member of the Rotary Club of Kona Cynthia Hope began asking former and current members of the Rotary Club of Kona if they might be interested in starting a new breakfast club. The usual lunch meetings made it difficult for her to leave her job five other members had left the club for the same reason. With full District support Kona Sunrise Rotary was officially chartered on April 9 2009 with 26 members. Ms.
